glasgow’s finnieston crane next to the river clyde. not used for ship building these days. sometimes maniacs bungee off it…occasionally others leap without using a rope. tenements at the front there…the whitelee windfarm on the hills behind (click to view the image in a larger format).

guinness glass

i like a glass of guinness. i don’t drink a huge amount of it and i’m not terribly fond of the extra cold stuff (ruins the consistency i feel) but i do like it. also the export variety that’s sold in the bottles is worth a try. put hairs on your chest it will…or make them fall out…one or the other.

glasgow riverside museum

recently visited glasgow’s ‘new’ riverside museum. this is the third version of the transport museum that i’ve seen. first on the south-side in what is now called the tramway theatre. secondly in the kelvin hall. and here, lastly, on the banks of the river clyde. impressive building and they’ve used the space well. not enough cars on show though…and it isn’t all about transport now…sadly. didn’t see anyone without a camera i don’t think…here are more images of the place to add to the pile…click for a slide show type thing.

got some slide film for my lomo lc-a…fujichrome sensia 200 to be exact…with thoughts of getting it cross processed (x-pro). and get it cross processed i did. this involves using c41 chemicals instead of the regular e6 mix (not that i’m an expert…i know little of such things). fujifilm processing were more than happy to accept the mission. was rather pleased with the results. here are a few samples…

so. shooting into the sun with the plastic lens on the black slim devil. most photographers would suggest you don’t do it with any type of camera but what do they know. this is the result. i find it rather pleasing. agfa vista 200 (expired 2007).

the last diana mini images

my lomography diana mini has been passed to a new owner. i’ll miss the wee girl but i have too many cameras and she’ll hopefully brighten the life of another photographer. so here are some sample shots from the last roll to pass through her…some fujicolor superia x-tra 400…low light = big grain…

so long toatie yin…we had some good times.

superheadz black slim devil slideshow

selection of film shots taken with the superheadz black slim devil (vivitar ultra wide & slim) using two films: ilford hp5plus and lomography color negative 400. quite a difference in exposure between the two. all images are ‘straight out of camera’ as in i’ve not done anything except scan them in. slideshow made with imagination on linux.
