diana f mini 35mm

after recently getting the white angel slim camera i think i’ve rather been bitten by the 35mm bug. learnt a couple of lessons along the way though…like don’t buy ilford hp5 iso400 film unless you’re going to develop it yourself…£10 a time and it’ll take 2 — 4 weeks using jessops. so i got some neopan 400cn from fujilab that can be processed by most shops as it’s c41 (even tesco do it!). so then i needed something to compliment the film…hmmm…i present the diana f mini 35mm from lomography

my favourite purchase for quite some time. it’s packaged in a lovely presentation box with a manual, lens cap, strap, hardback book and the camera itself. it’s compact but sturdy (mine’s the white version but it comes in other colours), has adjustable focus, 2 choices of aperture (f/8 & f/11), a bulb mode and the coolest shutter release i’ve ever come across. another feature is that as well as taking the standard square exposure it has a feature that allows 2 portrait photographs to be squeezed onto each frame allowing 72 shots from a 36 exposure film. multiple exposures are also easy to achieve. tempted? lomography have an online shop but you may get them slightly cheaper on ebay. they ooze style i think.

caught a splendid sunset when we visited troon the other day…made our way down to the beach next to north shore road. it got more orange as it sank behind the hills…quite stunning.
