fxcamera — htc hero and android

been trying fxcam­era for android on my htc hero…

great little applic­a­tion that uses the phone’s camera (the clue’s in the name i suppose) to create some weird and won­der­ful effects. there’s ‘toycam’ a sort of cross-processing/lomo effect, ‘Polan­droid’ a polar­oid type thingy, ‘Fisheye’ sim­u­lat­ing a spher­ical lens and a few others.

a couple of sample shots can be seen below (i’ve really only used the ‘Toycam’ mode).

my only cri­ti­cism is that it can only cope with images at a top res­ol­u­tion of 960x640…oh how i’d love it to deal with the full 5mp from the camera.
